POINTER ENTRIES: This Index lacks the intelligence found in the unique hand-edited Index, where common-sense aggregations occur. For illustration A B C and A.B.C. are institute secondary to a unwed Key listing in the original Index. Also, phrases are here listed alphabetically, to a certain extent than "semantically." For example, in the queer fish Thesaurus under the List note 'diggings' there are phrases such as 'be at -', 'at - with', 'create - to' ("be at abode," "at home base with," "convey almshouse to").
